Medal Rework

I’m trying a new system for medals. As many players have noticed, the system we’ve been using can be frustrating. Even after playing a perfect game, you need a perfect roll just to get those final few medals. I decided to remove much of the randomness, and make it more of a grind.

  • The amount of medals you need for each rank is now the same for all factions
    • Soldier: 0
    • Corporal: 5
    • Sergeant: 20
    • Knight: 50
    • Lieutenant: 125
    • Captain: 250
    • Major: 450
    • Colonel: 700
    • General: 1,000
  • As you can see, the amount of medals required for each rank has increased dramatically
  • The Rank of each medal drop has been multiplied by 5
  • Currently, it’s only possible to get to about 450 medals
    • Soon, I’ll be adding a new item (similar to the Bonus Crates) which will increase the rank of ALL medal drops permanently. I’m hoping this will help new players catch up a little, and give the stream a sense of overall progression.
  • Medals will no longer drop at a numerical Rank, but rather at these same faction ranks (Corporal, Sergeant, etc.)
  • Players who have the same or lower rank as the medal will receive 1 medal
    • Example: If a medal drops at rank “Knight”, all players rank Soldier, Corporal, Sergeant, and Knight will receive 1 medal
  • The rank of each medal drop is determined by the last round completed, with a chance to rank up, as shown on this table:
