Classes

rangerARCHER

The archer specializes in long-range, single-target damage – making him incredibly effective against enemies with a large health pool such as Trolls and Bosses.

Bowman

Fires long-range arrows

  • Each attack has a 5% chance of firing a piercing arrow, dealing 350% damage.
  • Piercing arrows Ignore Armor.

ON POWERUP

While the bowman is powered, his range is increased by 50% and his attack speed is increased by 100%

TARGET PRIORITY

By default, the bowman will attack the “front enemy” (the enemy who is closest to reaching the barracks).

FALCON

The bowman gains a pet falcon, who can attack enemies within 150% of the bowman’s range, dealing 120% of the bowman’s damage with each strike. The falcon will continue attacking the same enemy until it is dead or burrowed before attacking another enemy or returning to the bowman (whichever is closer).

SNIPER

Instead of firing arrows, the sniper shoots enemies with a long-range sniper rifle.  

  • Has a 20% chance to get a “Headshot”, dealing 350% increased damage to the target

TARGET PRIORITY

By default, the sniper will attack the enemy closest to reaching the barracks, prioritizing enemies below half health.

WEAKEN

The sniper’s attacks also weaken the target for 150% damage. The weaken effect causes temporary damage and wears off after 5 seconds.

GUNNER

The gunner has a very short range. However, he’s able to save up ammunition to unload on enemies once they enter his reach. 

  • Can store up to 20 bullets.
  • Reloads 1 bullet every 1.6 seconds while in a tower
  • Reloads 1 bullet every 6.4 seconds while out of a tower

The gunner trades in his machine gun for a long-range rocket launcher, and maintains 100% reload rate out of tower

The rogue deals considerable single-target damage, and specializes in reducing the armor of armored enemies such as Orcs and Giant Ants.

Knife-Thrower

Throws knives which damage enemies and reduce the armor of armored enemies

  • Knives have a 20% chance of ricocheting to up to 3 additional enemies

Axe

Throws an axe instead, which deals heavy damage and stuns for 2 seconds upon removing armor from an enemy

Assassin

Low-range, slow attack speed, with BIG damage numbers! The assassin stealths around the tower and appears only to quickly stab his target before going back into the shadows

  • After getting the killing blow or removing the last bit of armor from an enemy, the Assassin’s attack cooldown is reset

Charge

  • The assassin’s Charge Meter fills automatically, taking 40 seconds to fill completely.
  • While Charged, the assassin deals 600% damage.
  • Each Charged attack consumes 30% of his Charge Meter.

Each point of mastery reduces the cost of the charge attack. The cost is divided by 1 + Mastery * 0.00075.

While powered, if the Charge Meter would drop below 30%, a small amount of power is consumed instead.

POISONSTRIKE

  • Gives the assassin a 50% chance of applying Corrosive Poison to his target
  • Corrosive Poison deals 300% weapon damage (and armor reduction) over 6 seconds

Ninja

Throws up to 3 ninja-stars which damage enemies and reduce the armor of armored enemies

  • Smoke Bomb: Move to a building instantly (20 second cooldown. Can store up to 3 charges).
  • Deadly Strike: The first attack after using Smoke Bomb will deal 200% damage

Spread

Increases the maximum number of shurikens the ninja can throw to 6.

The firemage specializes in attacks that hit all enemies within an area.  This makes them strong against enemies that group up like Spiders and Giant Ants

Pyromancer

Casts fireballs which explode on impact, dealing damage to all enemies in the Area of Effect.

Talent Options

Maniac

  • Fireballs have a 50% chance to become a Pyroblast
  • Pyroblast: The area of effect is doubled. On impact the pyroblast leaves behind a pool of fire which damages nearby enemies for 5 seconds.

Each point of mastery adds an additional 0.0625% chance to cast Pyroblast on attack

*If Pyroblast chance exceeds 100%, each point of mastery will instead increase all damage by 0.035%

ON POWERUP

While the pyromancer is powered, her fireballs deal double damage in a 5 meter radius, and her pyroblasts ignite the enemy, dealing Impact Damage every second for 6 seconds.

TARGET PRIORITY

By default, the pyromancer’s fireballs target the area with the most enemies, while her pyroblasts target the front enemy (to maximize the enemies hit by the Fire Pool)

IGNITE

  • Fireballs are replaced by a flamethrower attack, which deals continuous AoE damage at a small range.
  • The flamethrower requires fuel to attack. The fuel tanks automatically fills up over 20 seconds while in a tower (80 seconds out of tower). A full tank allows for 5 seconds of attacking.

BASE STATS

Damage: 480/second
Damage Radius: 2.5 meters
Range: 7 meters

MASTERY

Every 1200 points of mastery doubles the AoE radius of the flamethrower.

ON POWERUP

While the pyromancer is powered, the flamethrower attack deals double damage (using fuel at twice the normal rate), pulling fuel from the power bar if her canister runs out.

TARGET PRIORITY

By default, the pyromancer’s flamethrower targets the area with the most enemies. The flamethrower locks onto enemies until they die or leave her range.

Arcanist

Launches magic missiles at her target, which explode on impact dealing 100% damage to her target, and 50% damage to enemies within 2.5 meters.

  • On impact, magic missiles have a 50% chance of granting one “charge”.
  • Attack speed is increased by 25% per charge.
  • While no enemies are in range, charges drop off every 2 seconds.

Saboteur

Throws Sticky Mines at her target, which deal damage on impact and last for 8 seconds. If the target takes fire damage or dies while the mine is active, it will explode, damaging all enemies within 5 meters

  • Upon attacking an enemy who already has a Sticky Mine, the Saboteur will instead refresh the mine’s duration and add 50% of her damage to the active mine

Bomber

  • Every time the saboteur hits an enemy with a mine, they have a small chance to launch a bomb at the same enemy
  • The chance increases by 5% with each mine, and resets to 0 after launching a bomb
  • Bombs explode, dealing impact damage and damaging all enemies – and detonating all mines – within 7.5 meters

Barrage

The Saboteur ditches her mines for a rocket launcher.

  • The rocket launcher fires long-range, single-target rockets at the target and all enemies within 3.5 meters

The timemage slows enemies, keeping them on the path.  They are best utilized when placed near other players – increasing the damage your team deals to enemies.

IceMage

Casts single-target frostbolts which chill the enemy, slowing their movement speed to 50% for 3 seconds.

Chilling

Chill effect is improved, slowing enemy move speed to 30% for 4.5 seconds.

While the icemage is powered, attack speed is doubled, range is increased by 25%, and frostbolts slow enemy move speed to 20%.

TARGET PRIORITY

By default, the ice-mage will target the closest enemy who isn’t already chilled or frozen.

Freezing

  • Frostbolts gain a 30% chance to stun the target for 4 seconds
  • Deals 100% increased damage to stunned enemies

While the icemage is powered, attack speed is doubled, range is increased by 25%, and frostbolts gain an additional 20% to freeze enemies.

TARGET PRIORITY

By default, the ice-mage will target the closest enemy who isn’t already chilled, prioritizing stunned enemies.

Trickster

Instead of chilling enemies, the trickster has a 40% chance on hit to charm, causing them to walk backwards on the path for 2.5 seconds.

  • After being charmed, enemies are immune to charm for 3 seconds.

Casts chain-lightning, which hits up to 3 targets and stuns them for 1 second.

  • Chain-lightning can travel up to 5m
  • After being stunned, enemies are immune to all stuns for 0.25sec

alchemist classPoisoner

The poisoner poisons enemies, dealing damage over time.  Their poison continues to damage enemies while they are burrowed or cloaked, making them strong against enemies such as Shrooms.

Plague-Doctor

Necromancer

  • If an enemy dies while under the effects of your poison, they will be reanimated as a zombie to fight for you.
  • Zombies walk back and forth along the path, attacking nearby enemies
  • After 3 attacks, the zombie will disappear
  • May have a maximum of 6 active zombies at a time

Attacks with the souls of fallen enemies. Enemies hit by the Death Dealer become marked for death. If an enemy dies while marked, he will return an empowered soul to the Death Dealer, which can be used to deal massive damage.

  • Targets remain marked for 5 seconds
  • While marked, enemies are unable to burrow
  • Empowered Souls deal 400% normal damage

Seed

  • Instead of firing Empowered Souls, after acquiring 3 charges, the DeathDealer fires a “Seed of Death”
  • After a 6 second delay (or when the target dies), the Seed explodes, launching up to 3 Empowered Souls at enemies within 12.5 meters, dealing 400% damage.
  • If any of the 3 Empowered Souls does not reach their target, the Deathdealer will immediately gain 1 charge for each wasted Soul. If full on charges, he will instead gain ~3 power per wasted soul.

minstrelBard

The bard empowers other characters in his tower.  He’s most efficient when in a tower with a class that is strong against the current enemy.

Minstrel

Deals moderate damage with musical notes, while increasing the level of the players in his tower.

  • Increases the level of players in his tower. Adding 45% of his own strength, split between all players in his tower (including himself)
  • Because each player level is a bigger increase in strength than the previous, the minstrel grants more levels to low-level players than high-level players. However, the increase in damage and ability power is constant.
  • Levels granted to the minstrel increase his damage, but do not increase the number of levels he grants to players in his tower

By default, the minstrel will attack the closest enemy to his tower.

Mimic

Mimics the attacks of characters in his tower, cycling through the characters with each attack

  • Archer: Deals 200% damage
  • Rogue: Deals 150% damage and reduces armor
  • Firemage: Deals 150% damage to the target and 75% damage to all enemies within 2.5 meters of the target.
  • Timemage: Deals 150% damage and slows the target by 50% for 3 seconds
  • Poisoner: Deals 335% damage over 12 seconds
  • Bard: Deals normal damage
  • Has a 5% chance on attack of firing a “White Note”, which applies the effect of ALL classes

Commander

Fires a pistol. Enemies targeted by the Commander take 25% increased damage from ALL players.

  • The Commader’s debuff has a diminished effect on bosses (25% of the normal amount)
  • The Commader’s debuff has a larger effect when his level is higher than the enemy’s, and a smaller effect when his level is lower. (The math is the same as it is for crowd control effects, and is based on the Commander’s Ability Power vs. the enemy’s Ability Resistance)

  • Whenever the Commander’s target dies, he’ll cause All players in his tower to immediately attack the new target (consuming 1 power for each other player in his tower).

By default, the commander will target the enemy with the lowest health who is not already targeted by another commander.

Scout

Deals moderate damage with his spear. While powered, grants a portion of the spent power to the players in his tower

  • Whenever a unit in his tower gets a killing blow, the scout’s spec icon fills up. Once full, the scout grants 4 rapid charges to his tower (The same charges granted by rapid runes)
  • The Scout increases the range of all players in his tower by 10%.
