DeathDealer Update

The Death Dealer in its previous form has been removed from the game. That mechanic will be returning in the form of perks/gear. However, I felt that the differences between the Plague Doctor and Death Dealer were merely cosmetic. I want each spec to offer something slightly different to the team, so I’m systematically removing the least interesting specs. Next up is most likely the
Mimic (whose attack will also likely become a perk or gear).

Other Changes:

  • Poison:
    • I removed yesterday’s change, which added impact damage when a target already had the maximum poison stacks
    • When attempting to poison an enemy which is already poisoned by you, you will refresh the poison’s duration, and add 15% of the new poison’s damage (stacking indefinitely)
    • Plague Doctors add an additional 0.3% damage with each alchemist rank (for a total of +30% damage at rank 50)
    • While powered, instead of their poison stacking up to 5 times, Plague Doctors‘ poison will add twice as much damage per stack (60% damage while powered at rank 50)
    • The Potion Master‘s “ceaseless” option, which previous allowed the poison to stack up to 3 times, now increases the extra damage added to 50% per stack.
  • Armor:
    • Orcs base armor has been lowered from 16 to 8
    • Ant’s based armor has been lowered from 8 to 3
    • The Skeleton boss’s armor has been lowered from 125 to 75
    • Rogues no longer gain additional armor reduction per rank
  • Shrooms’ base health has been increased from 60 to 65.
  • Ants‘ base health has been increased from 45 to 50.
